1st lab visit (at 7:00 am in downtown Charlotte, nonetheless). Those of you that know me, know I am so not a morning person, but this is worth getting up early for. I went to the lab, and they drew some blood. They protocol is that if I am in the lab by 8:00 then they will be able to call me that afternoon with the result.
The nurse called me this afternoon with the result. It's 227. A good solid number for this early in the pregnancy. I will return on July 14th for another lab visit to see if it is increasing as it should.
