Progress Check

I saw Dr. Whiteside this morning to check my progress. I have one average sized follicle and one that's a little smaller, not quite as large as he would like, but there is one good one, nonetheless. This was one of my biggest fears. At my age, I was really worried that I would no longer be able to produce good quality follicles and eggs. Using donor eggs or sperm was never an option for us. That was where, personally, I drew the line. I was doing this in hopes of a producing a biological child; otherwise, I would just explore the option of adopting a child. At any rate, we will have the IUI on Thursday in hopes that that will give the one good follicle time to mature and see what happens.
