I took my Ovidrel shot this afternoon. This is the hCG injection that is used to help the follicle(s) mature and to trigger the release of the mature egg(s) from the ovaries. I cannot self-administer injections, as I am a big wimp when it comes to sticking myself with a needle, so I made my mom do it. Chris is always too scared he is going to hurt me so he really doesn't like to do it either. It was quick (and painless), so everything is going as it should.
